This isn’t just a walk for me — it’s part of my journey.
In my BOLD class, I learned about the concept of a Misogi — a challenge so bold and uncomfortable that it transforms you. This walk is my Misogi.
I’m at a new stage in life, transitioning into being an empty nester. For years, my identity was wrapped up in being “Mom.” Now, I’m embracing this season as a chance to focus on my health, my business, and myself — to become independent in a way I’ve never had the space to before.
My goal is not only to get healthier and stronger but also to rebuild my community. I want to walk alongside friends, family, and my KW family — because I know I can’t do this alone. I also know I need to be held accountable — and my family and friends won’t let me quit halfway through. That’s exactly why I chose to spearhead this walk.
I’m honored to serve as the Mid-America KW Cares Representative, and I believe there’s no better way to bring people together than walking side by side for a cause that touches so many lives. KW Cares is a nonprofit that steps up when KW families need it most — through natural disasters, medical hardships, or unexpected crises.
Leading this event allows me to combine three things I care deeply about: personal growth, community strength, and service.
👉 Walk with me.
👉 Cheer me on.
👉 Donate to KW Cares.
Together, we’ll raise awareness, raise funds, and remind each other that when life transitions feel big, we are stronger when we walk together. 💪👟
